Damn, and he's a blur fan too. Oh well, it was a about a 7/10 for me the first time I heard it, but it's grown on me since then. He's So High wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4fXGndZo7o

Re: The Magic Whip Reviews
didnt focus enough on the positive moments (lonesome street, pyongyang)... however he is right that ong ong and mirrorball are both weak, and its a pretty unmemorable end to the album

Re: The Magic Whip Reviews
He doesn't seem to know very much about the recording process.
I completely disagree with his comments about the vocals.

Re: The Magic Whip Reviews
Ummm.....pretty sure he reviewed the fake leak...
He said Lonesome Street was both sad and a lullaby.
He said Mirrorball contained synths and drum machines.
He said Ghost Ship turns into a jam.
He said Terracotta Heart contained big saxophone chords.
He f*cked up,.

but i dont know much about the recording process of most things i listen to, and that shouldnt really matter should it... a good song is a good song
"yeah theyre not the best songs... but it was only done in 5 days with some of damons old unused demos"
isnt going to really be part of the general discussion
