*dances around the room*(To Damon) Would you like to do further projects together?
I would like to do something that is not necessarily a record but involves that same process we employed. Something other, a film score would be nice. We enjoy playing together.
Agreed - I haven't bothered with any of the opera stuff like Dr Dee etc, maybe I'm missing out on the odd gem in there but to me there's nothing better than new Blur material. He's So High wrote:I think film scores/soundtracks must provide the biggest difference in how excited the artist and their fans are! I mean they're nice and all, but compared to a proper studio album
I think stuff like Dr Dee and Monkey stay with you more if you see the shows. I love both those albums but then maybe I'm influenced ever so slightly by the wonderful memories of the shows. After all, that music is made for the express purpose of suporting a narrative, so it would hardly be surpising that coming to it cold, some of the tracks at least might not resonate in the same way as a studio album.jordanmoore wrote:Agreed - I haven't bothered with any of the opera stuff like Dr Dee etc, maybe I'm missing out on the odd gem in there but to me there's nothing better than new Blur material. He's So High wrote:I think film scores/soundtracks must provide the biggest difference in how excited the artist and their fans are!
