I watched the stream. All I can say is, awesome music but what is wrong Damon?
If somebody has a recording of the cameraman focusing on Damon for about 5 minutes (it's almost as if the cameraman knew Damon was tired/hungover/..etc) i'd love it. It's a highlight forsure

Textin' abbreviates the brain. Aspirin takes away the pain.

I didn't see it so I can only speculate, but Damon seemed okay at the start of the night, so I assume the tiredness caught up with him. It caught up with me and I dozed off. Not an option when you're on stage though, unless he has 40 winks under his keyboard during an extended jam.

I think we can assume that Smoggy is on holiday.

Nope... I think they should have given a song or at least more spotlight for Graham - he was pretty low in the mix.daii wrote:any blur song on the setlist?
I caught the full webstream (minus one song in the middle) and will upload it in a few days.

Wow. Just an amazing night. The 5 hours+ just flew by, in dancing, singing, crying and raving.
Probably the greatest musicexperience, in my 12 years at Roskilde.
Damon refusd to leave the stage, and so did the audience. People's where haning around for more that an hour after the show, playing african rythms on anything, that could make a sound In the tent. I'll post a video of that soon.
Kinda sad to have missed most of Paul McCartney, who played the main stage at the same time. But i would never forgive myself, If i'd missed this.

First aid kit played aswell (Not on the list in the Gigography) and there where more that one of the guys from Bombay bycicle Club.
And i'm pretty sure it was Richard Russel on drumpads, for a few tracks.

Stephen Budd made it clear on twitter. First it was Ian (co funder of Africa Express) who tells him to stop and then Dave who has been working for Africa express for years, not security
