I thought it was

Oh Pyongyang,
I'm leaving.

Either works, I guess.

Anyone know what this one bit is from I Broadcast? It really sounds like either:

all for the council

or

all for a cold sore

Any ideas?

Agree. Recession is what I hear.

Yeah, i knew i was wrong on some parts. English is not my first language and Damon doesn't help much either. I also knew lyrics would differ considerably from the live version to the studio version to the point i deemed almost useless to get those lyrics. At any rate, they helped me sing along all this time. I really hope the booklet has the official lyrics.

I'll have a try on ghost ship:

I remember flashbacks lighting up Magic Whip
8 o'clock Kowloon emptiness handling
The ?? image I had of you eleven seconds ago
I didn't send you so you will never know

I got away for a little while
But then it came back much harder

Swinging on the people are tripling
Climbing down the ghostly wire ??
That light in your eyes I search for religiously
When it's not there, oh lord what's happening

I got away for a little while
But then it came back much harder

Til I ever hold u out there again
Yill you be mine
Cos im on a ghost ship drowning my heart in Hong Kong
It's the last round boarding here tonight out in the bay
I'll need a landing and you to shine out bright rays

Leaving out a bond in you
What can I do
It's up to the dock everyday to join with you

I had to get away
For a little while
But then it came back much harder

Til I ever hold you out there again
Will you be mine
Cos I'm on a ghost ship drowning my heart in Hong Kong
It's the last round boarding here tonight
Out in the bay
I'll need a landing and you to shine out bright rays
I can't wear that, stupid rain hat

It's clearly 'coldsore' in I Broadcast.

Rhymes with 'high score' as well.

Was trying to work it out myself. I know the very last bit is: '...for our survival.'

That's the only bit I could make out, too. :D

These are Pyongyang's lyrics according to the CD booklet:

Pyongyang
I look down from my window
On to the island where I'm held
They listen while your sleeping [sic]
And darkness is itself
Tomorrow I am leaving*
The trees are amplified
The never ending broadcast to which I do not aspire

Kid the mausoleum has fallen
And the perfect avenues will seem empty without you
The pink light that bathed the great leaders is fading
By the time your sun is rising there
Out here it's turning blue
The silver rockets coming
The cherry trees of Pyongyang
I'm leaving

I feel like I am floating
Processed in auto tune
The never ending roll on
To the palace of the doomed
The temperature keeps falling
Soon there will be no light
Just a red glow and a glass coffin
Watched by someone though the night

*Damon definitely sings "tomorrow I'm disappearing"
