New albums are usually worse rated than old records, it isn't really serious really. And it's still #54 for 2015, which it's pretty good considering how the website works (there's always a good number of obscure metal bands and ambient music in the charts). Oh, and there were some people who rated the fake leak before it came out, so that's also had an effect on the global mark

on /mu/, you either join in with the "blur are shite" circlejerk, or you actually like them

yeah, most of the people on RYM are /mu/ or Pitchfork fans, in adittion of hating pop music in general, they have that certain prejudice with English bands, like Vampire Weekend with much higher ratings than Foals for exemple.

um... probably because vampire weekend are superstars of the current generation, a pretty much flawless track record 9/10 10/10 9/10 album scores, and well foals are mediocrity at its finest, and havent made a good record in a long time, and have never made a great record - and thats coming from someone who bought their records

Foals is not that good, but Vampire Weekend is really crap for me, boring and irritating

I actually prefer Foals. Really don't like Vampire Weekend - weedy crap.
