The difference between Popscene > Girls and Boys compared to Girls And Boys > Popscene is in my opinion quite big. I really love big bands to start with a more unknown song (The Who did that for their 1969/1970 tour when they started with Heaven and Hell with John Entwistle on vocals)

And...If they do London Loves; please leave out the "give it to me" bit ..
agree :) Popscene works very well as an opener!
I put me trousers on, have a cup of tea, and think about leaving the house...

I think the '97 setlists are really solid. If you took some of those out and added representation of the newer albums that could be perfect.

I really can do without Parklife and Country House. And, please, no more Phil Daniels.

I really don't care what they play or don't play, as long as they do a warm-up gig anywhere within a reasonable distance to where I am in the UK. I've never seen them live and this is probably my last chance.

Think Far Out would be interesting with Alex on vocals, especially the Beagle 2 Remix

Far Out? God, no.

As for first songs, I actually think Girls and Boys should remain the opener. The live version is such a cool punk disco tune and it captures the spirit of the band and the relationship they have with the crowd (the massive sing along and 'uh uh oh' call and response). It's epic! Would absolutely love if they squeezed Ambulance in somewhere and Trouble in the Message Centre. Also, Coping. Damon once said it was one of their favorites, so where is it? Wouldn't mind a rendition of TOPMAN, either. :)

Didn't Damon disown that song?

Seriously, if they play Philadelphia I'd be happy with whatever they play even if it's the God Awful (imo) She's So High

Why did he disown Charmless Man? He thought it was mean or something? It's a good track.

other Album tracks MAY kick out Go Out. But i reckon it would be great live

I wouldn't mind one bit if they ditched ALL of the songs from Parklife out of the set. I hope they focus on Blur/13 but also some older tracks from Leisure.

So not including the new album songs, I'd love to hear them play (not in order):

Popscene (set opener)
Ambulance
Blue Jeans
Essex Dogs (come on, how awesome would it be?!)
I'm Just A Killer For Your Love
High Cool
I Know
1992
Bugman
Caramel
Trimm Trabb
Bang
He Thought Of Cars
It Could Be You
All Your Life
All We Want
Polished Stone
Swallows In The Heatwave
Battery In Your Leg
Some Glad Morning

And yes, I threw in a load of b-sides there too. I highly doubt they'll be played but I can dream!

All of the songs? Hm, I think Girls & Boys, This Is a Low, End of a Century and Badhead should always be played. And then there's Trouble in the Message Center which would be really nice. But yeah, more from Blur/13 please!
