Re: The Magic Whip Tour (UK SHOWS ANNOUNCED)
I have the same problem I know that they won't come where I live and it's impossible for me to see them in Uk for my work... the only chance for me is to see them this july on a festival...which is better than nothing but I don't like festivals...

That's a shame guys. Fingers crossed they play somewhere near to you!

Well I was lucky to see them at their own show in Dublin in 2013 which I'm still very grateful for, plus Electric Picnic is generally my favourite weekend of the year. Better than Christmas. And I love Christmas!AstronomyD81 wrote:I have the same problem I know that they won't come where I live and it's impossible for me to see them in Uk for my work... the only chance for me is to see them this july on a festival...which is better than nothing but I don't like festivals...

The south west doesn't do *too* badly. Damon payed Bristol on the ER tour too. We do get some stuff in this direction and all the London gigs are only the other end of the M4. I think there's regions that do worse - say, off the top of my head, if you lived in Northern Ireland maybe?

Aw..lucky you..I don't like festivals specially these days because if you want to be at the front-at least in Spain- you have to buy vip tickets and they are so expensive...My Name Is Mud wrote:That's a shame guys. Fingers crossed they play somewhere near to you!

Re: The Magic Whip Tour (UK SHOWS ANNOUNCED)
London is reasonable for me. I have friends and family who can put me up and it's only an hour and half train journey. I can't really complain. But I would like to see them in a smaller venue. I caught them in Bournemouth in 2003 and I really would like if they played there again. It's even closer than London for me. And after all, it is Alex's hometown

I've been drifting along in the same stale old shoes

Yep, Bournemouth and I'd be there in a flash. My other half's parents even have a flat down there so I could get free accommodation thinking about it.
Exeter or Plymouth I'd take too. Going the other way, something in the midlands could be on the cards later in the year. That would be fine also.

TripleJay deserves a Blur concert close to his area (NorthEast of England).
