I know Elton is a huge consumer of music, but I wonder if he DOES know about Sir Elton John's Cock? It's a pretty obscure curio tucked away on a box set of stuff only obsessives would listen to... I dunno, I guess someone would have told him. If I was Damon though, I wouldn't be owning up.
'Oh yeah, Elton, didn't I ever say? Yeah, we did a little song about your penis. It was only short.'

Listening to The Magic Whip in full at the moment. Ahhhhh, it's bringing back so many great memories from last year. Seeing the band at MODE, Wolverhampton and Blackpool. And the general feeling of summer as well, I listened to the album non-stop all summer. Such a great album.
Still 9/10 for me.

Still a 9/10 for me too, I still listen to it almost daily and just wish they would set a date for NWT DVD/Blu Ray and whatever show(s) they are likely to bundle with it..

So... The Magic Whip was introduced to the world a year ago today! Crazy how time flies - I remember how exited I was and how I couldn't watch the "Go Out" video after a couple of hours it went online and it was such a torture to wait

And today I'll listen to the song and to the whole record a lot - who would have imagined that possibility a year and a week ago, for example

RIP Mr. Okay (April 2015 - March 2016)

That morning was crazy here too. I had several problems to watch the press conference, so I had to read every post in this thread, I was so excited., There were lot of fans connected in this forum during the whole day...I remember listening Go Out, I loved it since the 1rst moment, it was very Entertain Me-esque imho, just great!
After midday my friends and I agreed to buy tickets for Hyde Park concert, and we pre-ordered TMW too.

Yes, I remember the HUGE list of members listed as currently being online that day. It was so busy. You'd go to post, and then whilst you were typing another two or three posts popped in and made a nonsense of whatever you were replying to.

I working 3rd shift around this time last year, so I didn't wake-up until 11 a.m. my time to leave for work. I received a notification from Tom's Beatles Face Book page and then emails from Blur's official site and I was in all my glory. Before walking into work I checked "Go Out" for the first time and I must admit I was mixed during the that initial listen and then it suddenly just grew on me. Then, I immediately secured my Hyde Park ticket once those went on sale.
"Lonesome Street" is still my absolute favorite track... I still rank it around 9/10 or 10/10 and is definitely my fave alltime Blur album (well, tied w/"13")......
Man.. what a year it was....watching them on Fallon and seeing them live in Hyde Park.... I still wonder what the future may bring!
