Okay, I was weak and looked at the comments!

One of the things that just makes me love Blur even more is how wound up some people seem to get about them, particularly Alex James. I'm not quite sure who's sad enough to spend their Sunday morning making mean-spirited (and quite lengthy) comments about a band they apparently hate. I always think that if you're winding so many people up, you must be doing something right!

Wow some pathetic hate on there!

I didn't think to look at the comments. There's something so sad about seeing people delighting in trying to spoil other people's fun.

Heh, would make a good triple album! I wonder if the design was intentional?

There's no denying it, Oasis fans are dicks.
I might not like the band but if they reunited I wouldn't go posting shit comments about it.

Blur used to love to upset people.

“Blur, I guess, is quite hierarchical and I am not sure sometimes about my place and what I am allowed to do"
I think this is a bit of a shame when you take into account the considerable talent that he has.

All the more reason to celebrate his taking the lead on The Magic Whip then surely. :)

Eh, that magazine is a crap magazine.

However, it word gets around to them that Americans really like it and it's in print like a rating in a magazine maybe they'll take note and come around here. :)
We can only hope! Thing is, they know they've had a rabidly dedicated fanbase here...have for almost 20 years. They don't need a reason to justify coming here, they just want to come here.

You mean the black backgrounds Veikko? Those three together would be an interesting blur sampler!

I still think we could get another single, a more official one. Sort of like the Strokes did with Comeback Machine and Franz Ferdinand with Tonight. They both released songs before the albums that weren't really singles.

Oh well. I'm sure it'll be interesting however they do it.

Yeah I'd imagine there'll be at least one more song before the album release date. There were at least three or four weren't there for Everyday Robots?
