You know when Damon specifically mentioned that there was no Auto-tune on the record...?

...Do you think that could have been a Take That towards William Orbit for his version of Under the Westway?

Jesus that was a weird day when Orbit leaked his version of Westway! I honestly must've passed it to about 50 people.

I must be the only person on the planet who doesn't mind Orbit's version of Westway, eh?

Yep.

Graham's reaction was the best. Wish I'd saved it before the old forum shut down.

It's quite a terrible version... positively twerk-worthy.

The Orbitgate still hurts... I wasn't quite fond of his take on UTW, but "13" being my favourite album I had hopes regarding a new collaboration with him.

Then he had that childish outburst

His behavior and his version of the song was some what bizarre.

If the song was something special and much better than the final version then you can somewhat forgive him a little bit, but its not even close to being any good.

He's just made himself look like a complete idiot. I always say 13 is by far my personal favorite album, maybe he just lost the plot a little with this.

I just heard William Orbit's version of UTW for the first time. HAHAHAHH!!!! Hilariously bad.

it's the worst thing I've ever heard with the word "Blur" written on the cover. Even "Alex's Song" is better.

Not quite. I've always said I prefer the structure of this version, and the middle section is gorgeous. It's just a shame that Billy boy seemed to get it into his head that autotune and a rag bag of wacky effects were the order of the day. Totally spoils an interesting alternative to the released version.

The day it was leaked was indeed completely bizarre. Like others, at the time I just couldn't even make my mind up to start with if it was even real, or some kind of wind-up, so bad are the vocal effects.
