I feel the same thing, it's a really good song, but it does not make sense to be among Lonesome Street and Go Out, i saw many people complaining about it.tom_cas1 wrote:Nearly a week on since it was released, the only song that I'm yet to fall head over heals for us New World Towers. It's a great song and live it was amazing but perhaps it should have been later in the album and not the second song. Lonesome Street, Go Out, Ice Cream Man would have been a better order in my opinion. Like I said, it's a great song and I enjoy listening to it, but after Lonesome Street I don't think it fits.
It's a minor thing of course, I love the song. So not really a complaint but just a thought.

Yeah I definitely feel the same way. I liked the live version a bit better as the studio version is just a bit too busy and cluttered up until the 2 minute-ish mark.tom_cas1 wrote:Nearly a week on since it was released, the only song that I'm yet to fall head over heals for us New World Towers. However, after listening to the album in my car the other day, the song seemed to click a little bit better than it had before.

New World Towers was difficult to get familiar with cos it's different from the live performance, but once you get used to it, it's a great song. I especially love the vocal transition after the first verse, and those keyboards after Graham's first solo are so nice and soothing. Love it.

I don't know, but New World Towers has to have something, because ever since my first listen it's the song that tends to stick in my mind the most!

Same, to be totally honest. I keep finding myself singing the first few lines over and over to myself.Jensen wrote:I don't know, but New World Towers has to have something, because ever since my first listen it's the song that tends to stick in my mind the most!

It's not even the song I've replayed most! But there it suddenly appears, like a mantra...TripleJay97 wrote: Same, to be totally honest. I keep finding myself singing the first few lines over and over to myself.
