Oh well. I'm sure it'll be interesting however they do it.
Yeah I'd imagine there'll be at least one more song before the album release date. There were at least three or four weren't there for Everyday Robots?
before release date to ER, we knew 90% songs cos damon played them in february :P and yes studio version we knew to ER, lonely and elephant song

Yes, it would be interesting to know if there's some reason behind this or is it a coincidence.

“I feel less alone and less redundant, even if it is for only one album...I have absolute faith the record is good and I know I did everything I could to make it good and Damon did everything he could.”
The 1rst phrase sounds a bit sad to me, but the 2nd phrase seems hopeful. It makes me want to hear the new album right now!!
tweedz wrote:“The scary thing is that we have not come together to make a record as a four-piece for 16 years. Is our sound and what we are saying relevant to anybody?”
 Of course Graham!!
tweedz wrote:“Lots of groups come back and it doesn’t really set the world alight. Even diehard fans are slightly unenthused. Yet it is a weird idea that simply because you are past a certain age you stop. This isn’t the 1950s, the era of the teenager, any more. I always think of the old blues men carrying on making music and having children until they are 80. Pop music doesn’t have to be a fleeting, age-related thing either.”
That's true. And I hope Blur keep creating music for many years.
tweedz wrote:“Communication between us has got to a point where it is like telepathy.”
Great!! :P After all, they're like "brothers".
tweedz wrote:“Blur, I guess, is quite hierarchical and I am not sure sometimes about my place and what I am allowed to do. But Damon was quite enthusiastic about me taking the recordings and taking it off his shoulders.”
Wow, I didn't expect that statement, after all these decades. Fortunately Damon felt quite enthusiastic about it.
tweedz wrote:“I have no trouble keeping grounded. I know my own bad habits on the guitar.”
I'd like to know what "bad habits on the guitar" he's talking about. There's nothing wrong in him playing guitar.
tweedz wrote:"There needs to be room for beautiful mistakes, that is how the best music gets made.”
100% agreed. Some musical mistakes or musical accidents are absolutely beautiful and memorable.

There's a new promo thing. It's just the sign blinking, no audio.

I saw it but don't think it's anything new. Just another promotion thing to keep the album in people's minds etc.

I kind of hope not too much is released online to hear before the album comes out. Just so I have the whole album to enjoy on first listen.
But I understand they gotta do their marketing. Will just try and avoid as much as I can. I don't think I'll be able to hold myself back if another song was released though. :o

Reminds me of the picture in the liner notes of MLIR, was that intentional?
