Haha he was joking about that..or did he?101reykjavik wrote:Graham's going to release a book?? Brilliant.

Very nice interview to listen to. I'm not a huge fan of Keaveny's breakfast show but his interviews are quite good. Besides Graham is friend of the show so it's really easy going lovely morning chat.

I'll be VERY dissapointed if the cover isn't a photo of him doing his Paul Mccartney impression

Re: general blur thread
I went to a tiny local art exhibition today and the most prominent thing on the ground floor was "Damon at Glastonbury" which was selling for £90. It was a painting of Damon at the back of the festival looking kind of miffed with the Pyramid Stage and huge crowd behind him. Wanted to photograph it but realised I couldn't.

Graham is doing Shirley Collins tribute concert on July 5th, and he confirmed on Twitter that he'll be playing his version of 'Cruel Mother'

Hopefully a video of that performance will emerge. His version of Cruel Mother is absolutely brilliant. Here for anyone who hasn't heard it:

Re: general blur thread
Yeah absolutely brilliant version! When it comes to Graham's solo recordings as much as I adore his punky outbursts he is definitely the best when there is just his voice and guitar.
Re: general blur thread
He is a seriously good interpreter of folk music and the old folk songs. Not sure he knows quite how good he is at it. His version of Bruton Town, that he played on the radio a few years ago, is wonderful and it totally opened up folk music to me. Until then I'd only ever got as far as Jansch and Renbourn.
