It's posted on Damon Albarn Unofficial also - that page has far wider reach than forums

Very interesting, Jaime!

I guess they'll be in the same studio (Geejam) where the debut album was finished...

Ooo yes Veikko. That would be a nice touch. Does this mean we're gonna get some more chill, reggae vibes on the new Gorillaz album like Slow Country (and Ghost Ship)?

Just catching up on this news. Sounds promising. Kudos to Jaime for getting it from the horse's mouth. 8-)

Thanks mates!

One of my workmates is going to Jamaica on friday. I hope she can get some extra info about this new album.

So I gotta ask, how did you locate him? There was that other lady who found him as well. Apparently he told her the album would be ready next month. Did he confirm that at all?

I located him thanks to one of my friends. She has a friend in San Pedro de Atacama(where Damon stayed during the last week).

Damon never told us the album will/would be ready in september. He told us that he was travelling to Jamaica to finish it (but he didn't mention an specific month). ;)

I love the guests Damon brings on, but I really hope he has some more songs to himself this time round!

I hadn't heard about Massive Attack before. Exciting possibility. Agree about vocals from Damon though, a nice balance of him and collaborations please!
