Fucking no to miley.
Love Miley's record, it's brilliant. But actually I'd rather get Carly Rae Jepson in, her new stuff is phenomenal.

Another Rat Boy vid, but this one has Damon singing in the background with his '2-D' falsetto voice. It's a soft and gentle falsetto, mind you, but I think that's the highest his falsetto's been on a Gorillaz record in a long time.

Impossible to tell if that's Damon. But don't you think that Damon would be present at all Gorillaz recording sessions? Because he's out of the country at the moment.

That's not Damon  his falsetto's way more powerful than that. The one on there just sounds wussy.

^this made me literally laugh out loud.

Both girls are bad imo. What about someone like Courtney Barnett?

It would be cool to have David Bowie on it.

After a few more listens, yeah I guess that's not him after all like I'd originally thought. Ah, well. I was being too hopeful. Haha. All of these clips he's been uploading I'm sure are just glimpses of him jamming out some demoes for some kind of solo project. I'm not convinced any of these are Gorillaz now. Wasn't One of Rat Boy's producers or managers a contributor to the first couple of Gorillaz albums? That's probably how he got access to Studio 13.

I guess he's made some alright tunes, though.

My list:

St. Vincent
Kendrick Lamar or Kanye, maybe even a rapper who's far beyond his peak like Jay-Z.
Danny Brown
Natasha Khan from Bat for Lashes, who did backing vocals on The Selfish Giant.
Kid Koala
Florence Welch
Susanne Sundfor
Dev Hynes
Kamasi Washington
Macca
Noel G. (he's apparently going to be recording a solo album in 2016, so I guess he'd have the time to do it).

^I'd only want Noel G if he was performing a similar role to Mark E Smith on Plastic Beach 8-)

Yeah, that'd be cool, although I do want him to sing with Damon.

Just realized Shamir would also fit quite well in a Gorillaz album. He's had a hit single and his album is actually pretty alright.

Agreed. I love the whole album actually, and his voice would certainly be distinctive.

Dallas Green from City and Colour would be a lovely collaboration.
