Re: Wonder.land....Damon Albarn's New Project.
well, he did say kurt veill so can't blame him. but the german way of pronouncing "weill" is with a "V"
just a bit uninformed i guess... that Kurt Weill, who was a master of opera/musical of the early 20th century would be more likely in conversation about a new musical than Kurt Vile xD

I'm really the most excited to hear the electronic parts of this musical.

I'm tempted to go to a November show in London. Not many tickets left though, only balcony by the looks of it.

I've got a feeling this is going to be a great show. The War Horse production team are involved and they know how to make something look fabulous based on the night I saw that. And we know the music will be good! Go for it.

Rosalie Craig has been cast as the lead role for the musical and will star alongside various others according to an article from The Stage, though no info has come out on which roles the others will play yet.

In this new interview, Moira Buffini describes Damon Albarn's soundtrack to the musical as a digital-sounding mix of victorian music-hall and modern music, as he himself has previously described. I think that from that description, I can kind of...imagine what the soundtrack will feel like. She also described the story, and apparently it takes place in some kind of an anarchistic massively multiplayer online video game. It was inspired by their kids fascination with gaming and technology. This certainly sounds very interesting and i'd really love to hear the music for it.
