So the DVD finally arrived today, and I can't say I'm over-excited about it... In a nutshell, please save your money if you already have a decent quality video of Glasto '09. For those who missed the show and don't care about the ridiculous mono sound, this is an optimal buy.

The cover/package: A sturdy DVD case with quite nice sleeve design. No inner sleeves. The back cover wrongly states that the video presentation is in 4:3 and doesn't even mention that the show is Glastonbury 2009!

Contents: Exact copy of the BBC's broadcast of Glastonbury 2009; nothing more, nothing less. Song subtitles and annoying warnings for the strobe lights are included for the price.

Audio Quality: 6/10 Although the stereo/surround options are working, the actual sound mix is mono - yes, 100% MONO! In addition to this amazing letdown, the volume level is quite low, meaning you have to pull your volume knob a bit more. Otherwise, the audio quality is pretty good for an unofficial DVD.

Picture Quality: 8-/10 The source for the video is very probably the original HD broadcast by BBC. Quality is fine, although the playback is not perfectly fluid on my PowerDVD player - looks more like 15-20 frames per second rather than 30 fps (anyway, a casual viewer would not likely notice it).

In México is in sale a version of this presentation, called "Live At Glastonbury Festival", is a part of a North American Magazine, the price of this DVD is (aprox.) 15 USD. I don't have idea about the information of this DVD and the quality of video. You can see something about, here: mixup.com.mx

I searched a bit and found two covers for this "Live At Glastonbury" DVD:

Backcover of the 1st one can be seen here:
http://www.amazon.de/Blur-Live-at-Glast ... B003YGT1TI

With the same tracklist/length, the footage is very likely identical to "Even More People Live 2009". But of course, depending on the DVD authoring, the sound/picture quality may be a bit different.

Still the best way is to watch this show in HD as BBC aired that day. 8-)

I didn't know there's unofficial stuff on amazon.
