1,400 sold already. So just to recap we have
Black (Standard)
Red (Amazon exclusive)
Blue (Indies exclusive)
Grey swirl (Blur European store exclusive)
Clear (Blur US store exclusive)
Zoetrope (Blood Records exclusive)
Any others?
Surely that's a record - pardon the pun, but this has to be the most versions of a vinyl release simultaneously.
Also, disappointed that Amazon are involved given their poor industrial relations.

Cracker Island had about 15 colour versions on release.

Yeah, Cracker Island had sooo many. And I think blur’s zoetrope looks better than cracker island’s. Most bands do this nowadays — must be the easiest way to sell physical copies in the streaming age. But I haven’t seen anyone other than Damon’s bands have the zoetropes. Maybe I just haven’t paid attention.

Blood records has a whole heap of them, I think that's their entire business model.
I prefer this Zoetrope to the 'rillaz one, although I did have a bit of fomo when that sold out.

So I now have all but the clear one on order, so that is 5 vinyl, two special edition CD’s as didn’t realise my deluxe edition had this when ordering and the album on cassette tape. I need to stop
Wow good effort

Anyone else hoping for a G Coxon lead vocal on a song on the new album?
I don't remember us discussing that there wasn't one on Magic Whip at the time, but I was a little surprised.
Both the previous Blur albums that Graham had been fully involved with included him singing lead on one song, so I just thought that's how it would be going forward! Guess his backing vocals are at least pretty prominent on The Narcissist.

My blur store order confirmation finally came through for the Darren stuff I bought in a drunken haze on 19 May!

His voice is holding up much better than Damon’s, to be honest…

I kind of dream of a Blur album in "Lennon-McCartney" style, with Damon and Graham both bringing in their own songs - and possibly making them better by those little spontaneous touches that such a collab of geniuses brings. 6 songs sung by Damon, 4 sung by Graham, something like that. I have to say I don´t like the idea that Damon "wrote the album" somewhere on the road with Gorillaz. Still hope it will be great anyway, but the more songwriting input by Graham, the better.
Anyone reading this thread in the wake of new Blur album news and still didn´t listen to The Waeve? Do you bloody homework, kid!

I think it is promising on Grahams vocal contribution on the two songs we have heard, gives me MDLIR and Parklife vibes and his vocals have aged so well, it could be 1994 again.

Ha! This is nothing! Paul McCartney’s McCartney III had so many versions it was impossible to keep track of who had what color or edition. Plus as I am not rich it was impossible to buy every version.

Awww man they're killing me with this!!! That zeotrope is dope but will probably be $50 to the US with shipping
I want St. Charles Square to be a single ASAP. Depending on production, it might be in my all time top 10.
