Loving ‘She Knows’, classic Graham, very Blur in sound and those guitars, can’t wait for the album. Loving Graham’s involvement with the soundtrack for this series.

Really like 'She Knows' i can hear a nod to the leisure era.

I love Grahams albums up until HIM. But I'm aghast to why he was chosen for this. At least get someone else to sing. Graham's angst voice is tired now he's in his 50s.

Also is it true Damon played piano on some tracks? YouTube seems to think so

Any thoughts on the new album yet? Listened to it on the way into work but too early to fully digest it yet. I was hoping for some more in the style of 'She Knows', lots of short tracks given the tracklisting length, certainly some possible gems, 'Vale' sounded like it may be a bit of a grower.

Personally a bit disappointed after a first listen... I'll give it some more spins.

I like it Mostly. There are a few tracks that are good accompanying music for a TV show but not necessarily tunes I'd like to listen to on a standalone basis.

I've wangled a promo copy in red vinyl. It's wasted on me as I've not got a gramophone or anything. I'll have to buy one.

Would you mind sharing the liner notes of the promo vinyl? Loads of people really would like to believe it's Damon on the piano 😂Although Graham just clarified on Twitter that it's himself, it nice to have more than his words to keep people from speculating. Thanks!

That'll be Graham tinckling the keys... Firstly, he'd not lie. Secondly he's perfectly capable of playing that, there's no need to get Damon in.

There aren't liner notes, it's just a red record in a sleeve. I don't think it is the album, actually, looking at the track listing. Just a massive single? This is on the back though, Gra has sole performing credits. So a bit of a dead end for any "they're working together again" conspiracies, I'm afraid. :(

Thanks a lot for sharing! Yeah it should be some kind of promo single thing, I saw press people receiving it prior to the release of She Knows on streaming platforms last Monday. And I agree, he IS a multi-instrumentalist after all, it's just I saw so many people swear they heard Damon on it, which I find really peculiar, so it's nice to settle it once and for all 😂

Listening to it now (iTunes download). So far, lots of similarities to the first soundtrack. I haven't heard anything that really jumps out like "She Left the Light On" or "Walking All Day", but still working my way through it. Early impressions are it's solid with a lot of variety in style and it is always amazing to hear anything with Graham. His solo albums are still so important to me...maybe if we are lucky, this will prompt a US tour similar to last Fall. Seeing him in four cities was definitely a highlight of my 2018.

Down To The Sea TOTALLY sounds like a song The Growlers would do.

A lot of the songs have a 60's western vibe to them, with the reverb vocals and guitar.

It's sure a sign of the times when the F word would be in the title of a TV series.
