RIP, Viola Beach!

Post by KingLouieLouie76 » 14 Feb 2016, 22:29

First, I must admit I never heard of them until it was announced about the fatal vehicle accident that claimed all four members along w/others in their entourage. I know it's a moot point, but they had a lot of potential (been listening to their music today).... The essence that I spread my deepest condolences towards their family, friends, acquaintances, fans, etc.... Just so beyond unfortunate this really tragic event!

I'd never heard of them, but my sister was becoming a big fan, having played them for a good few months. She says they were basically on the brink of becoming big. Very sad news :(

I've read the news today, oh boy.. Listened to a couple of songs, they were really nice. Such a shame that this was the way to know about the band for the first time. RIP

My sentiments exactly... I'm currently watching their Maida Vale session from last year and am thoroughly impressed by the sound they had.....

Here's the clips:

I hadn't heard of them either I must admit, but I too read the news this morning and saw the photos. Shocking. They all looked so young, that's what I kept thinking. What a tragic accident.

All the more poignant because they were out and about, as working bands are, when it happened.

RIP.

I just located their Face Book page while posting this: https://www.facebook.com/violabeachwarrington/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just puts everything completely into perspective....Again my deepest condolences!
