Fair enough

Anyhow,

The Rolling Stones are overrated

Queen need more love from people like you. They're only overrated by kids really. Fucking listen to A Night at the Opera.

Forever Low Man is wrong about 96% of the time (wait that's probably a popular opinion) ;)

Double albums are usually bad. Not all of them, though.

Wings' Back to the Egg is great.

John Lennon is the worst solo Beatles (except Ringo of course)

I'm tempted to say George is the best but McCartney probably holds up better material in a lot of places.

Is this unpopular though? I'd say that's the generally accepted opinion.

I can't name five musicians that wrote better pop melodies than Rivers Cuomo did at his peak, however short it was.

That "Sgt Pepper" is the best Beatles album (and some claim best album of all-time) when to me it's not better than "Revolver" and "Rubber Soul".

Elvis is the King of Rock-N-Roll.....Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry both share that title.

Mark Hollis has the best and most beautiful singing voice ever.

I know some people will share my opinion on that, but more people need to.

That Brian Wilson was the Beach Boys... even though how much I revere him, his brothers Dennis and Carl contributed several key songs when Brian was devoting his time towards other projects...also, Mike Love and Al Jardine are pivotal to their overall success and I cannot overlook Bruce Johnston....

In the Aeroplane Over the Sea isn't that good of an album.

Overrated bands: The Strokes, The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys, The Doors, Oasis.

All of The Beatles were pretty hit or miss in their solo careers, none of them really ever were consistently great again (all had good moments though)

Pink Floyd were best with Syd Barrett (not sure if that's unpopular here or not)

Not sure if there's any other Sonic Youth fans here, but I think Experimental Jet Set is just as good as their other 90s album (not sure why everyone dislikes it)

Radiohead has no bad albums (might not be THAT unpopular, but I really think they're all great, even Pablo Honey and TKOL)

Arctic Monkeys and The Doors also overrated.

Lou Reed didn't make many good solo albums, apart from the obvious ones. Quite a dissapointment gettnig into him.

90s Bowie f'ing rules and Black Tie through to Earthling are just of worthy as your time as the 70s classics.

Zeppelin made their best song after 1975. Damn, two of their top 3 are from after 1975.

Matt Sharp was the most important of Weezer!
Faith No More need Jim Martin back or otherwise they will continue to remain irrelevant!
Paul McCartney was the best guitarist of the Beatles!
Brian Jones era of the Stones was the best!
Jeff Beck was the best Yardbirds guitarist!
