Re: David Bowie Thread (RIP)
The last song they did together (I Feel Free) is such a great underrated tune. Perhaps Bowie's best ever cover.

"Wild Is The Wind" disagrees, as does "My Death".AdvertBreak wrote:The last song they did together (I Feel Free) is such a great underrated tune. Perhaps Bowie's best ever cover.

Warner Brothers seem to have instructed that Bowie albums be taken down off You Tube.

Re: David Bowie Thread (RIP)

Why do they even own the rights anyway? He's never released on Warner Bros apart from Real Cool World. I know they own Parlophone but he was never on Parlophone neither. Considering his RCA and Virgin catalogue belonged to EMI circa 1999 (remasters), they should be in Universal's hands, and his BMG/Arista/Columbia albums should be Sony.
Anyway, happy 40th birthday Station to Station.

Station To Station, didn't realize it was 40 years old today. Probably my favourite Bowie album, fantastic stuff.
