The album will be an insta-stream and insta-buy on an LP. The two tracks are incredible, and, man, how cool it would be if he toured this record! At least, to some extent

Now that Dexter is doing talk show appearances for him I doubt he'll ever play live again.
But yeah, I've got to get the vinyl of this too. I'll be calling the Barnes & Noble to see if I can get a clear one.

Am I alone in hoping he doesn't tour (or give interviews)?
His distance from the audience is such a breath of fresh air.

I always assumed his previous health issues will preclude any touring. I think I agree, it makes for a rather appealing enigmatic quality anyway.

I am starting to agree with you two.... It would add more to the mystique of the album if he didn't tour behind it...let the music alone impact everyone and so far it has done that to me...guess it's best he doesn't tarnish his legacy by touring when he's not close to his peak self....

Let's face it, he's 70. Okay, McCartney is 73 and tours, but we've grown accustomed to that and how it looks and sounds on stage these days. I agree, a past his prime (physically) Bowie being out there for the world to dissect might lessen the impact of this weird music just falling out of the sky from the great man.

Edit - 68! Apologies to Mr Bowie.

It would be awesome if he did at least one big live show - maybe he doesn't need to tour, but some sort of live video would sell like hotcakes - look at the Roger Waters' The Wall, for example. Or "Reflektor Tapes", or "New World Towers". Some history behind the album might be awesome as well

It is too good a material not to be exposed deeper that just a record!

He could also sent the team of artists to perform the album for him :lol: Here is Michael C. Hall perfoming "Lazarus" at The Late Show http://youtu.be/B_3mEWx2e_8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Well that certainly tickled my g-spot. Exquisite song and better than Blackstar in my opinion, and Blackstar is FANTASTIC! Really can't wait for the new album.

I really like the middle section which kicks off at the 2:46 mark. Those chords, that melody, the overall instrumentation...oh god... :oops:

Yeah....he also blew me away during the mid-section of "Blackstar" as well... just incredible!

I've decided that I'm not gonna listen to any of the singles before the album is released or leaked. I want to fully experience a brand new Bowie album without knowing what to expect. That being said, I still haven't heard one single negative remark about the new songs, so it's being hard :lol:
