I have standard Spotify and upgraded to Premium at Christmas time for 3 months. I was then charged more than I should have been (thankfully got the money back) but that put me off Spotify Premium. I have an iTunes account and trust Apple as far as payment goes so Apple Music is a no brainer, I feel very comfortable using it and know exactly what I'm getting. Apple Music is the way forward for me now!

Oh - iTunes 12.2 is now available for download!

I quite like it so far, the Connect section and Beats 1 radio station is really cool. Can't wait to check out Josh Homme's show. Also, it was a fantastic surprise to see that Trent Reznor uploaded alternate and instrumental versions of songs from The Fragile and With Teeth! :D

I can't decide which one is better haha! I'm listening to the instrumental version of The Wretched, love hearing all these little layers of sounds!

Thom Yorke is letting Apple stream his music as well, seems like some musicians are getting extra pays

Anyone know what the heart button's for? I mean, obviously it means you like a song, but does that go into a playlist anywhere?

I think it just goes towards the algorithms about what music to recommend you.

Yep, a message pops up when you hit the button for the first time.

Playing TMW on this right now, it does look nice although I still think Spotify is miles ahead. Good enough for a first try though.

I had some issues with the service today - the songs didn't load up, the heart button caused app to freeze. Phone reboot seems like a solution - listening to Alabama Shakes' "Sound & Color" now - so good to find it in just a few taps

His and Taylor Swift's allowing Apple Music to stream but not Spotify just shows their rank hypocrisy. You really think Apple is paying that much more per stream than Spotify is? No, it's just that Apple is deemed to be more "cool" than Spotify.

It kind of touches on something that's been bothering me as someone who's been an Apple geek for a long time...Apple used to be the outsider/renegade company making waves and changing entire industries, but lately they seem to be more of a "me too!" company, jumping into already existing markets they had nothing to do with (streaming music, smart watches) and trying to use their huge wealth and brand cachet to take them over, while in the process becoming more fragmented and bloated. They're reverting back to the bad old pre-Jobs days of the late 1980s/1990s where they had their finger in too many pies and were unfocused and scattered. In that way, they've turned into Microsoft and that kind of sucks.
