Any fans? I've seen a few people post about him before.
I got into him after Salad Days came out last year and got addicted to the jangly, drowsy sound, like The Smiths doing Shoegaze. I also did a cover of Blue Boy

Yeah big fan. I thought 2 was great, but Salad Days is better. Really looking forward to seeing him at Primavera.
New EP out this summer I think.

Mac is great - I love listening to "Salad Days" from time to time - and his live performances are really nice! I was quite disappointed when I couldn't attend his performance at one of the Moscow festivals - maybe he'll come back promoting his new EP, I can only wish..

Salad Days is a great album. Nothing groundbreaking or astonishing but certainly quite fun.

I like him, but preferred "2" to "Salad Days". I'll definitely check out his new mini-album when it comes out.

I really hope I get to see him someday, I've heard his shows are
incredible. He's one of the few artists my girlfriend and I both appreciate

Yeah I have tickets to the Shaky Knees festival here in Atlanta where he's on the lineup. Unfortunately, due to a prior conflict in my schedule, I probably will have to miss his set.

Great stuff. I like how him and Tame Impala are kinda merging into one.

Saw him at Primavera and although musically I don't think he was at his best (not helped by the wind making him quite quiet) the set was still a total laugh. Highlights include his bass player giving a shout out to Moby and an impromptu cover of Yellow!

In the past few days, not one, but
two new albums have appeared online. The release scheduled for next month 'Another One' and a collection of "instrumental BBQ tracks" entitled 'Some Other Ones'. Most of the songs on these releases have approached a similar, mellow vibe and it's a tiny bit samey after a while. It's difficult to pick highlights
I guess I'd say the best track is 'I've Been Waiting For Her'. It reminds me a lot of The Velvet Underground's 'Rock & Roll'.

Not at all, no!
Another One's growing on me. I think it just needs time to settle.

You can't rely on one good track for an album. There has to be 'Another One' to make it worth buying....
