Faith No More

Post by unheard78 » 15 Apr 2015, 15:06

There is going to be a scene leak at some point soon, though it could be right before it goes on sale in some countries or after the release. But I still think it could leak any moment now. Did anyone see Faith No More's new album leaked today, a little over a month early of it's release? Anything is possible I guess.

Faith No More did leak today but it was deleted incredibly quickly......they are absolutely all over it.

I used to love Faith No More - I still love Angel Dust - but the new songs they've released so far are terrible. FNM were never formulaic but it seems like they've tried to re-hash all of their little idiosyncrasies and shoehorn them all into a song. A really crap attempt at a comeback, which - since they're such a brave and dynamic band - really highlights what a great job Blur have done with their comeback record.

Faith No More, seriously? On a Blur forum I would have expected anything. But Faith No More?

Just listened myself - not blown away but much better than what I expected after the two teaser tracks. Love the last song especially, and pleased to hear them trying some Mr Bungle-esque craziness, as well as using pianos etc.

They are poles apart on the surface, sure, but they share a similarity insofar as they were both always really brave and inventive.

Also, for me personally, Angel Dust came out in 1992 when I was 15, and MLIR a year later. I was obsessed with both albums and still love them.

FNM's work overall is patchy IMO but Angel Dust is a fucking masterpiece, and completely stark raving batshit mental.

Fnm were really inventive, and Mr Patton in my book, is in par with Damon in terms of artistry and different things he's tried and I may add that he's got one of the most, if not the widest vocal ranges ever.

Angel dust and king for a day fool for a lifetime are true masterpieces, they were one of the most versatile and original bands of the 90's.

Ah stop, Mr. Bungle are the best. One of my favourite bands. I'd love to see them reunite. Faith No More are great too though.

Another fan here! Angel Dust is terrific and the successive albums are underrated. Haven't heard anything pre-Real Thing however.
