'A Dream Outside' by Gengahr is really quite good, and there's something quite Blurry in their music. Something about the spark and invention, the inventive guitar and the locked-in rhythm section. Very enjoyable.

Listening now. There's something really charming about this

I maybe sorta accidentally played some 90s Duran Duran the other week, but that was just before they announced this. Haven't bothered to listen to any singles or anything but as its a week before my birthday, I might, maybe, ask for it.

I love Duran Duran, they're one of my favourite bands.

But I hate "Pressure Off", and that album art is atrocious. I really hope they're two red herrings.

I recognize the old icons on it though, and at first when I saw it I thought it was a compilation because of that. So I'm not sure what that is about either.

It's not even the first time they use some of these classic images: RIo's lips were also on Medazzaland artwork, there was a pink phone on Pop Trash. I really hope I'm impressed by the album, but these first two moves come across a bit desparate.

The Orb's new album Moonbuilding 2703 AD is terrific! I'd say their best album since Orblivion, although I haven't really heard the Lee Scratch Perry collaborations much, but I doubt they're as good as this.

Have any of you guys heard the new Everything Everything album? I was never a big fan but this record is great, lovely melodies here and there and some unconventional song structures. It took me a while to get into the vocals though.
