Understatement of the millennium.

Loving the new avatar, by the way.

I've only heard some of it, and just the once. It sounded good to me so I'll hear it more. It was the first step in a build up of hype for me, because a few years back I saw the Blur and Radiohead references, then recently an ILM thread about how Allmusic shouldn't dislike them like they do, and then this thread, so I decided I should just do It and I've not been let down. Victory was the one which stood out most.

Thanks about the avatar, its of a game show my friend comically..just hates! But really its quite alright and has nice graphical direction (including the logo) so I taunt him saying I rather like it (because I do).

I have to recommend that after A Little Man... you check out Songs For Ships and Irons, it's on the same wavelength, both quality and style-wise. I also recommend checking out their website and especially the history section for a little background of the, uh, plot.

I know, I remember the gameshow from when I was little. A simpler time

Also, try finding a Cardiacs record on Amazon that costs less than £20... :(

I've seen loads of little pubs around the UK doing Cardiacs nights, raising money for Tim. That's so sweet :)

It's a slightly surreal experience, receiving packages from the Alphabet Business Concern :P

Is this a special edition or something, or the hard to trace original (which I'm guessing it is). I want to buy it anyway! Plus much shorter shipping for me lol.

I've actually really gotten into them over the past month or two. Thank you for the thread!

All of their albums are available from their official webstore for reasonable prices (well, compared to the ones you usually see on eBay)! You can get all sorts of other merch from there as well as updates about the band and Tim's condition.

I'm glad you're enjoying them! I've not managed to get a single friend into their music, they see the video for Tarred and Feathered and are instantly turned away  If you've heard A Little Man and a House, then I'd recommend either Songs For Ships and Irons or On Land and In The Sea.

All Spectacular and Stoneage Dinosaurs are two of the loveliest songs I've ever heard. Hope you enjoy your adventure :P

I've not heard the whole thing, but To Go Off and Things is a great song. I have a rip of the CD re-release which is now out of print.
