I've always found it quite amusing that Ricky Wilson became a The Voice/X Factor/Whatevs coach given how awful he is singing live :lol:

I watched an interview from Neil McCormick (boo) with Ricky on Vintage TV the other day. He was basically saying how he's drived more by fame and stardom, and how he isn't someone who could ever record a quirky album in a dark room because he likes the limelight. I guess that's obvious, but it makes me wonder what actually goes into the making of a Kaiser Chiefs album, or maybe what's sacrificed instead. He's obsessed with success.

Yes. I very occasionally listen to stuff from the two albums they recorded, when I remember that they even exist, haha.

Grapefruit were nearly very big. Maybe they just needed a singer like Ricky Wilson.... :lol:
