Yeah...in 1980 it was originally recorded as a single and develop a high cult following in the UK and then was re-recorded for their debut album, "Beauty and the Beat" which is a very underrated album! Also contains "Our Lips Are Sealed", but that and the aforementioned aren't even the best songs on the album.

They honestly never came close to capturing that magic again though......

Right now my fave song at the moment though is..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYcz7gMnifk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Rascals were The Young Rascals growing up a bit :)

I love the version of 'How Can I Be Sure' by Dusty Springfield.

Yeah.,..they began as the Rascals, but some other band initially had ownership of that name...However, they omitted the "Young" once the other "Rascals" disbanded... But the more famous of the Rascals sound did really evolve throughout their 3-4 years of hits making....They started in earnest as a singles band, but they began to evolve into more album oriented, but that was close to when they were on the verge of breaking-up...... They also mixed elements of garage rock and soul quite effectively... I'd definitely rank them within the top-10 of 60s American bands indeed!
