Re: Tame Impala Thread

Lonerism is exceptional but I think the new one is gonna be even better. Kevin Parker is supremely talented.

Re: Gig: BST Hyde Park, 20 June

I know everyone has difference experiences and accounts but my mates said it was pretty bad yesterday. Re: Gig: Paris, 15 June

Hmm I think Alex has been great during these shows, not sure where the "Alex doesn't like being a musician" comments are coming from. Re: Gig: Paris, 15 June

re HTOC and Alex's bass - do you mean the lovely descending bit in the chorus (la la la / brass bit)? Cos although the sound was a bit muddy in Blackpool I thought he'd skipped that part too and just played root notes instead. I don't think he skipped that part during the Paris performance. Not sur...

Re: Gig: Paris, 15 June

BUT! Alex, you little wanker! espèce de petit filou! The guy can't play the bass anymore, so he simplified the best part of the song. You know, that very little part that make a good song turining into a classic... It made me a little bit sad, but at least i now know why he doesn't play My Terracot...

A sign of the times when someone as piss poor and insignificant as Foghorn & The Machine might HEADLINE Glastonbury. Dear Lord.

Sean wrote:'A Dream Outside' by Gengahr is really quite good, and there's something quite Blurry in their music. Something about the spark and invention, the inventive guitar and the locked-in rhythm section. Very enjoyable.
Listening now. There's something really charming about this :)
