Re: Random Posts

I'm gonna toot toot toot
on my brand new flute
its silver and gold
and keeps out the cold

When I toot toot toot
on this golden flute
the birds tune in
and they start to sing

I hear that you've
got a new flute too
so hopefully soon
I'll be tooting with you

Re: Music is my radar

Adore these wilderness years but especially Music Is My Radar. It manages to sound like krautrock and Afrobeat (and indeed noise rock) at the same time.

Re: general blur thread

Some thoughts [originally put in unpopular blur opinions by mistake]: Blur, being a commercially successful but fan-base driven nominally indie band in the 90s and 00s were, of course, a fanbase oriented concern where the charts are concerned. Needless to say, this is when, after the band has kicked...

Re: The Beatles Thread

I don't at all think that, at least for now, the Beatles risk losing their 'relevance', unlike certain other Big Acts from times gone by. I'm not just speaking about me and all my same-age friends either liking or loving them (my friend Huw especially, who would be great in this thread), but how, fo...

Re: The Beatles Thread

I get tired of seeing the late 80s get written off as nothing more than surface level SAW and songs whose defining feature is a snare drum echoing from space. It was a terrifically exciting time for music, even if this wasn't quite reflected in the charts at all times, and yet in the UK, the fractur...

Re: Gwenno (of the Pipettes) - new Cornish language album

I was literally just joking to someone last night that I'd learn to speak Cornish for the sheer esoteric hell of it.

Shall check out this album
