I think it stands up incredibly well, especially considering A) how long it had been since they'd done a full album and B) how little actual time they put into it. It stands proudly alongside the rest of their discography and if it's their final statement, it's a fantastic way to go out.

The ones you mentioned are all good but shockingly for a Paul album, I haven't found Egypt Station to be all that memorable. Maybe I need to really hammer it into my brain and just overload on it, but nothing from it has stuck with me despite repeated listenings (see what I did there? )

It seems like Paul is trying too hard with Egypt Station to be trendy and modern. I wish he'd just be himself because everything from Flaming Pie through NEW showed that he can still be great at it. Egypt Station just isn't very memorable. A few top-shelf tunes on there but the rest of pretty forget...
