Re: Albums you've bought

I'm excited to hear the Alan Price and Skellern ones, which like Roy's Mustard were released a long time ago on out-of-print CDs and have been pretty unavailable until now.

Also bought some classics on CD the other day:
Kevin Ayers - Joy of a Toy
Harmonia - Musik von Harmonia
The Slits - Cut

Re: Whats your favourite song at the moment

Michael McDonald's song isn't exactly a cover but it borrows a lot from the Chuck Jackson song which resulted in Leiber-Stoller getting a writing credit

The Chuck Jackson song is a lot better ;)

Re: general blur thread

Blur are ten songs into their much hyped Hyde Park 2019 reunion concert. Its basically the same as 2009 and 2012, and only one Magic Whip song has survived (Ong Ong), and it seems to be very hits-oriented, but everyone's having a good time. "I want to introduce you to a friend," Damon announces to t...

Sunnyside Farm

Hello my friends! It's been a while I've been watching long-forgotten 1997 BBC Two sitcom Sunnyside Farm on YouTube, and despite its silliness have found it quite endearing as its gone on, which often happens to me and long forgotten, short-lived shows (for the first time ever, every episode of the ...

Just want to say, these past 20 hours have been the worst. The absolute worst. But he'll never be forgotten, not with music like that.

My audio diary (New: part 1 of 2018)

From now on I'd like to make a thread for listening diaries if thats okay. Largely because my half-annual audio diaries are where I channel most of my writing energy. I've just finished one for January-June 2018, where I really go on a bit about 42 albums and singles that I've loved listening to so ...

Sorry I meant Your Woman.

Not White Town, which is also a song on the album obviously. I was just tired so I wasn't really paying attention.
