Re: Doctor Who

You Are Not Alone :) My favourite Doctor is Patrick Troughton, though I also have a lot of love for Hartnell, Davison, Colin Baker, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston and Matt Smith. I grew up on the classic series and have watched it for as long as I can remember. I was brought up on Tom Baker duri...

Re: Think Tank instrumentals promo CD

I don't know what the deal is with this CD. I've seen these pop up on ebay a number of times over the past 3-4 years, but nothing before that. I've never seen it appear on any kind of Blur discography.

Re: What pisses you off at the moment?

Great to see a few others on here with rescue pets :) We've had three difficult evenings with our youngest dog. She's a rescue greyhound and has enough issues as it is - she was a mess when rescued and we really weren't sure she was even going to survive. She's now trembling & panting as soon as it ...

Re: What pisses you off at the moment?

Fireworks. Bonfire night is a thing of the past; it's now bonfire season. My two rescue dogs are absolutely petrified of fireworks and can't calm down or settle - it's a horrible thing to see. So far they've been pretty sporadic, but it's now ramping up. We've some new medication to try this year wh...

Re: Blur on the south bank show

One thing to be aware of... the Sky Arts broadcast is an edited down version of the original ITV broadcast. The ITV version is around 48 minutes, but I can't remember what the Sky Arts version is.

Re: What pisses you off at the moment?

I'm almost certainly not the first to say this, but I'm throwing the NRA out there. Why on earth is it in America that the right to own a gun is seen as a more important right than the right not be shot? I love America wholeheartedly having lived there for 9 months and gone back on holiday/vacation...

Nice, Paul! Can you post a pic of the Popscene one? I'd love to see.
I'll have a root around over the next week or two to see if I can find it. :)
Okay great. I’m sitting here waiting and hitting refresh. :P

Nice! I was watching the She's So High poster but it ended early. Glad it went to someone on here! I've got the Popscene poster but it's not in great condition sadly. Nice, Paul! Re: Blur Live albums

Yeah, the 'All the People' sound quality is dire. I remember a lot of people kicking off about it when these were released. I'm not sure if it's a mastering issue or down to how it was recorded at the time.

Re: RIP Keith Flint

A really sad day. I remember 'Charly' being released whilst I was at college and starting the whole 'Toytown Techno' scene - of course, nothing else came near it (apart from 'Summers Magic). 'Experience' was a huge part of my first year of University and it brings back so many memories every time I ...

Is Seven Days only available here?
There are two other versions of 7 Days; as mentioned, the Partridge version on '21' and another version on the 'Music is my Radar' single.

I seem to recall the vocal track for 'Far Out' is different on this demo and the one on 21. On one Alex says "Cass-e-oh-pea-ah", and on the other he says "Cass-e-oh-pie-ah".
You're right! I'm sorry. I jumped to conclusions when I heard the similar mix. Edited!
No problem, it's easily done!
