Re: time for a blur career spanning best of...

Personally not sure we need another one, we had the best of, since which Blur released 2 albums, Midlife and 21, that almost every song has already appeared on Midlife and the best of says it all for me.

Re: New release: Live at the BBC

Interesting.. He confirms that Blur activity is purely schedule dependent and it's not a case of anyone in the band objecting to it. Sadly, that's not exactly what he says. Any future Blur activity will of course be schedule dependent, but he doesn't really say (nor can he) how any of the others wo...

Re: Graham in the studio with Duran Duran...

Rediscovered Duran Duran the last few weeks, such a brilliant band live and in the studio. Seven And The Ragged Tiger a fantastic album and hopefully Graham is going to be the type of influence that the guitarist Andy Taylor made to them as when he is not with them they are never as good. Can defin...

Re: New release: Live at the BBC

I am with you on that too... Nevertheless, wishful rather than rational thinking makes me remember they did see each other for a bit this year (before and during the Circus gig), so it's not entirely impossible they did rehearse a bit more and are prepared for a one-off something. I wouldn't rule o...

Re: What pisses you off at the moment?

I think I've mentioned it before on here but I've been suffering from insomnia. It's a result from a whole host of things but mostly my tinitus. I forgot I posted this, but I've been off the caffeine for about 6 months now and the clarity in my thoughts are overwhelming. Most of my troubles have go...

Re: New release: Live at the BBC

Damon didn't do any Parklife 25th anniversary gigs because of Brexit, as didn't want to celebrate Britishness with Brexit One more thing to love this guy for, imho. Ordered the vinyl and a red parklife tote (as if I needed another tote, I am such a merchandise victim) and am still getting my hopes ...

The release is official then.

Hopefully they do a complete BBC sessions set, or at least one containing most of the sessions.
Yep, fingers well and truly crossed for that.

Apologies for mistakenly thinking you were wrong!

Re: New release: Live at the BBC

Yeah, I think sadly I'm also in the cynical camp here. My reasoning being if a full BBC live release was planned it would surely be a range of performances across their career, this promo is presumably from the same performance given the track listing. Secondly if there was to be a promo for it, wel...

Re: BLUR LIVE @ Africa Express: The Circus!

Last night was just incredible. I had heard a rumor that blur were reuniniting, but assumed Graham was still in the states so I just shrugged the idea away. From the angle i was at in the front row, I could see all the artists watching from side stage and saw Damon go up and hug Alex and Dave. Then...

Re: Islande - Damon at the Philharmonie de Paris, 24 May 2020

That's not a Saturday is it? that's normally riot against Macron and the mafia EU day over there, mainstream media like to keep it hushed up though, don't want the EU in a bad light do we... Wow! - i don't even know where to begin with that. I would like to make it perfectly clear to any Fre...

So what was this? I had a look at the site and the majority of questions asked were dire. Not related to the band at all. Fake?
i'm guessing its official, something being done/trialled in a promoting context, but there's no chance the band are actively involved, not based on those answers
