great news!

Re: New release: Live at the BBC

It doesn't make Damon a 'snowflake'. He is probably just concerned that celebrating the album's anniversary would be misinterpreted and taken out of context given the current political climate. In all his recent interviews regarding brexit, he has been very vocal about the fact people of opposing p...

Re: TGTBTQ: Merrie Land Live Performances Thread

I've seen them three times in the UK on this tour (Hackney eARTh, Norwich UEA and London Palladium) and although a support hasn't been billed it's always been Trevor, the end-of-the-pier organist from Blackpool. Trevor's a fine keyboardist, but a bit of an acquired taste. Sadly, I've yet to acquire ...

Re: Likelihood of a Blur tour soon.

Well - there's quite a gap in Damon's forthcoming schedule. The last TGTB&TQ gig is on 18 August. After that the next known Damon commitment is the first 'The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows' event in Paris on 24 May 2020. Say rehearsals knock out April and May 2020, that leaves 10 m...

It's really really really funny cuz both the article on the website and the description on YouTube said it's Damon while it's actually Dave. hmmm - they both...

Sister Rust - TGTB&TQ live?

Just listening through my videos of TGTB&TQ at the London Palladium the other night and marveling again at the tightness of the band and Damon's top notch singing... ... and I thought - wouldn't Sister Rust make a great TGTB&TQ live song :) :) You'd get Tony's scattering beats, Simon's shimmering gu...

Re: Parklife Demos '93

Is there a demo version of Death of a party from 92? Yes. From memory it's just Graham on an acoustic guitar with Damon singing. http://www.vblurpage.com/discography/fanclub/death.htm just had a listen after a long while - my version of the demo has the bass coming in half way through together with...
