Graham
Coxon has disappeared and his family miss
him terribly. So much so, that they have
put his photo on a milk carton asking for
information on his whereabouts.
The video starts at
breakfast time in the Coxon family
household, where everyone looks very
depressed. The Milk carton on the
breakfast table suddenly bursts into
life, sprouts arms and legs and leaves
the house to find Graham in London. He
hitches a lift on a motorbike and
searches the dangerous streets of London,
where he narrowly escapes being drunk,
kicked and chased by children.

Part of the storyboard |
Happening upon a
saucy phone-booth card, he visits Big
Suzy who promises to "make all your
dreams come true" - however Graham
is not waiting for him, and the Carton
flees Suzy's lustful clutches. Along the
way, he finds love in the shape of a
Strawberry milk carton, only for it to
end trafically and prematurely as someone
stamps on her.
Traumatised, Milk
carton almost gives up hope, and as he
wanders into a terrifying alley-way
filled with decaying cans and broken
Evian bottles, the Carton spots Blur
playing in a dingy basement. Mid-chorus,
Graham spies his picture on the side of
the carton, and decides to travel back to
his family. Graham arrives at his
parents' house, pauses outside for a
moment, drinks the milk, crumples the
carton and hurls it into the bin.
Graham's family rush to greet him. The
milk carton manages one last wave to the
camera before passing away - floating to
heaven where he meets his Strawberry
sweet-heart.
