Trivia:

  • Other suggested titles for the compilation were Best Blur Album In The World Ever and From Bars To Mars.
  • The tracklisting and the release time was market-researched by EMI with the help of focus groups. "They all said they'd buy it apart from four blokes in Yorkshire," said Graham.
  • The album was one of the first Western records released in China.
  • "For Tomorrow" is the only song from Modern Life Is Rubbish that made it to the album.
  • Some of the older tracks are slightly remastered.
